TV Mobile Phone – Watch FIFA World Cup Anywhere and Anytime

The 2010 FIFA World Cup is scheduled to take place between 11 June and 11 July 2010 in South Africa. And this is what all football fans all over the world have been waiting for. Are you a big football fan and by which means do you watch the games?

Of course, the super large TV set is the best choice. However, it’s not the case for the people who need extra work or travel on business. They may choose to watch video, but it can never be as fantastic as watching the live show. Then nice TV mobile phones appear very important. Some large screen TV phones can make you enjoy the World Cup more pleasantly.

3.7 inch screen: Samsung I8180C

It comes with built-in mobile TV module. You can watch TV programs through the 3.7 inch screen as you get out the antenna. Of course, it can never be an awful choice for watching World Cup. What’s more, it doesn’t only support mobile TV function, but also comes with excellent hardware configurations.

It’s of touch-sensitive and straight board design. The whole model comes with a sense of simplicity. The pure black body looks very stable and weighty. The red line design on the back side makes it some kind of fashionable. The screen is a highlight of the model. The 3.7 inch WVGA AMOLED screen ensures you wonderful display.

The 5,000,000 pixel camera is also magnificent. We know Samsung I8180C uses the Windows Mobile6.5. The third party software resources are very adequate. The 800MHz processor offers you a smooth operation speed.

The built-in GPS and Wi-Fi are also supported. It turns to be a more outstanding phone. By the way, it has 8GB built-in memory. There’s no possibility for the users to complain the saving-space.

3.7 inch screen: MOTO MT710

As a masterpiece of MOTO in 2010, except for supporting CMMB, the OPhone can never be looked down in design and performance. It’s of asymmetric design in appearance. The special design makes it quite different and fashionable.

It’s impressive for the black front side and red back side. The 3.7 inch WVGA screen reflects the true nature of display. A 5,000,000 pixel camera is of mainstream standard.

MOTO MT710 is a mobile phone with OMS operation system. Software support is also good. It supports the TD network of China Mobile. It also supports Wi-Fi and GPS.

One year ago, it may be a joke to talk about watching World Cup on mobile phones. However, it’s no more a gag, but a real and valuable application in our life. At present, the mobile TV hasn’t been widely accepted by the American and Europe market. However, there are more and more companies start to enter into the free mobile TV market.

In April there are 12 American TV channel operators including the Norman Fox, NBC and Gannett integrating broadcasting and TV frequency spectrum by joint ventures broadcasting TV programs for 0.15 billion population. The mobile TV technology will be more and more popular on the market.

Tracy is from chinazrh, an excellent china wholesale electronics supplier, which serves you the best wholesale consumer electronics including the TV Mobile Phones. Welcome to find more information about the wholesale Mobile Phones you need and welcome your valuable suggestions.

Australian Government to consider new approaches to disability

The Productivity Commission will investigate the feasibility of new approaches for funding and delivering long-term disability care and support.
The Prime Minister, Kevin Rudd, announced the inquiry at the National Disability Awards ceremony in Parliament House.
The inquiry forms part of the Australian Governments ten year National Disability Strategy being developed with State and Territory Governments and in consultation with the National People with Disabilities and Carer Council.
The Productivity Commission inquiry will examine the feasibility, costs and benefits of replacing the current system of disability services with a new approach which provides long-term essential care and support for people with severe or profound disabilities however acquired.
The inquiry will examine a range of options for long-term care and support including consideration of whether a no-fault social insurance approach to disability is appropriate in Australia. It will also examine if a scheme would fit with Australias health, aged care, income support and injury insurance systems.
These are complex issues that require rigorous analysis, design and costing. The feasibility study will assess whether a long-term care and support scheme would be appropriate, practical and economically responsible in the Australian context.
The Productivity Commission will consult widely and will be assisted by an associate commissioner with specialist disability expertise. An independent panel of experts will also be established to advise the Productivity Commission and Government during the Inquiry. The Australian Government will appoint the associate commissioner and the independent panel of experts shortly.
The Productivity Commission will report to Government in July 2011.
Figures released last week by the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare showed that around 2.3 million Australians will have a high level of disability by 2030.
This inquiry is an opportunity to rethink how we support people with disabilities so that they can engage with their community, get a job where possible, and live a happy and meaningful life.
The Commonwealth and State and Territory Governments have adopted a bold vision for the National Disability Strategy – an inclusive Australian society that enables people with disability to fulfil their potential as equal citizens.
We need to harness support across all levels of government to make a difference.
Thats why the Commonwealth is also proposing that the strategy be developed through the Council of Australian Governments.
This long-term agenda comes on top of an historic increase to Disability Support Pension and Carer Payment recipients of $70.83 per fortnight for single pensioners on the maximum rate and $29.93 per fortnight for couple pensioners combined on the maximum rate.
The Government has also allocated substantial new funding under the new National Disability Agreement, with more than $5 billion in funding over five years to the states for specialist disability services, including supported accommodation, respite and in-home care.
This includes the highest ever level of indexation and means that in 2013 the Australian Governments contribution will exceed $1.2 billion, compared to $620 million in 2007 under the previous government.

Mark Foster backs the Big Care Debate

A top Olympic winner and TV presenters have thrown their weight behind the debate on the funding of care.

Mark Foster, Philippa Forrester and Cerri Burnell have all added their voice of support to the short film that highlights four real life experience of why care matters.

As the Big Care Debate enters its final week, they are asking everyone to have their say on the future of the care and support system.

The film features four individuals who currently receive care and support to highlight the fact that the Government is looking to create a National Care Service that is simpler, fairer and more affordable than the current system.

They are giving everyone the opportunity to shape Government policy on the future of the care and support by getting involved in the Big Care Debate. Everyone can have their say on how they would like the National Care Service to be funded.

This debate affects everyone. In 20 years time a quarter of the entire adult population in England will be over 65 and the number of people over 85 will have doubled. Half of all men and two in three women will end up needing care, and if someone has more than 23,000 in savings, they will need to meet all the costs themselves.

Under the current system the average cost of care and support is 30,000, but for someone with dementia it could be as high as 200,000. The Government wants to change this.

Mark Foster said:

Life can change in seconds. For me it can be the difference between winning and losing. You can never know when your life may change forever and you may have care and support needs. Make sure you have your say on the future of the National Care Service.

Care Services Minister Phil Hope said:

The current system needs to change. I believe we can create a system that is fairer for everyone, but we need your help. This is your chance to make a real difference. There isnt much time left until the debate ends, and I would urge everyone to get involved and give us their views.

Diana Morgan, who has received care and support since losing both her legs in an accident said:

I was 29, and had just started my own company when my life changed forever when I lost both my legs in an accident. I had never imagined that I would have care and support needs. Im lucky – I have lots of wonderful friends, I do a lot of socialising, I have a great family and I love my work. I would urge people to have their say on the future of care and support, as most of us come into contact with the system at some point in our lives.

Hong Kong: Government committed to empowering families with enhanced support

The Government was committed to providing enhanced support to empower families and facilitate the building of more caring social networks, the Secretary for Labour and Welfare, Mr Matthew Cheung Kin-chung, said today (November 7).

Speaking at the FAMILY: A Jockey Club Initiative for a Harmonious Society Annual Symposium, Mr Cheung said that the family was a haven of hope and support, a beacon of compassion, a place where one can confide, confess, consult and communicate candidly and openly.

A problem or broken family, more often than not, breeds social problems like juvenile delinquency, domestic violence, abuse of children and the elderly, he said.

Noting that families of Hong Kong were facing structural changes with some of the traditional core values to uphold family solidarity being eroded, Mr Cheung said the Government would play the role of an enabler to empower families and facilitate the building of more caring social networks.

He said, The Family Council, chaired by the Chief Secretary, will launch a territory-wide Happy Family Campaign to further promote family core values, and to appeal to the public to build HKSAR families, i.e. Happy, Kind, Supportive, Appreciative and Responsible families, and to foster a culture of loving families.

The Family Council will co-ordinate and liaise with all relevant stakeholders in setting up a Happy Family Info Hub – a multi-sectoral and interactive support network and platform for exchange of information.

The provision of family support work spans various bureaus and departments and calls for concerted efforts.

Mr Cheung stressed that tripartite partnership between the government, the private sector and the civil society, charitable bodies such as the Hong Kong Jockey Club was also crucial in taking forward initiatives for happy families and harmonious society.

He commended the Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust for conceiving and staging the symposium which he described as most worthwhile.

This symposium provides a timely platform to discuss and explore best practices to achieve sustainable efforts to empower families, he concluded.

Hong Kong: Speech by SLW at “FAMILY: A Jockey Club Initiative for a Harmonious Society Annual Symposium” (English only)

Following is the speech by the Secretary for Labour and Welfare, Mr Matthew Cheung Kin-chung, at the FAMILY: A Jockey Club Initiative for a Harmonious Society Annual Symposium today (November 7):

Brian (Mr Brian Stevenson, Deputy Chairman, The Hong Kong Jockey Club), William (Mr William Yiu, Executive Director, Charities, The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust), Professor Tsui (Professor Tsui Lap-chee, Vice-Chancellor, The University of Hong Kong), Professor Schwarzer (Professor Ralf Schwarzer, Freie Universitat Berlin), Dr Viswanath (Dr Vish Viswanath, Harvard School of Public Health), distinguished guests, ladies and gentlemen,

I am honoured to be here for this annual symposium which focuses on an issue dear to all our hearts – the family.Let me first extend a very warm welcome to you all, especially those who have travelled from overseas to participate in this symposium.

The theme of todays symposium – Multidisciplinary Collaboration to Promote Family Health, Happiness and Harmony succinctly highlights the importance of adopting a multi-disciplinary approach in empowering families. It takes us all – experts from the health, social, psychology and policy sectors – to explore and share the best practices to promote family and societal harmony.

The past year or so was indeed a trying time for Hong Kong. The financial tsunami which battered us in end-2008 was followed by human swine influenza which erupted in our community in April this year. All Hong Kong families were hit. This double jeopardy reminds me of the saying that it never rains but it pours.Despite these twin blows, we managed to weather the storm and keep Hong Kong on an even keel.In confronting these dual challenges, and indeed, in times of adversities, families play a pivotal role in maintaining social cohesion. The family is a haven of hope and support, a beacon of compassion, a place where one can confide, confess, consult and communicate candidly and openly. This explains why a problem or broken family, more often than not, breeds social problems, ranging from juvenile delinquency, domestic violence to marital breakdown, abuse of children and the elderly, and various forms of emotional problems and mental illness such as depression and suicidal tendency. It is therefore no cliche that the family is the most important fabric weaving our community together.

However, families of Hong Kong are facing structural changes, and relationships among family members have also changed. Some of the traditional core values to uphold family solidarity are being eroded.Traditional functions of the family as a support system to individuals have also changed. An increasing number of working parents and single parents also means an increasing demand for family support and child care services.

So, what should be the role of the Government vis-ˆj-vis the family? We see the role of the Hong Kong SAR Government as an enabler. We are committed to providing enhanced support to empower families and facilitate the building of more caring social networks. The Family Council, chaired by the Chief Secretary for Administration, will launch a territory-wide Happy Family Campaign to further promote family core values, and to appeal to the public to build HKSAR families (i.e. Happy, Kind, Supportive, Appreciative and Responsible families), and to foster a culture of loving families. The Chief Executive has tasked the Family Council to develop policy options to alleviate the various social problems confronting us at the family level.

Through the Family Council, the Home Affairs Bureau will co-ordinate and liaise with all relevant stakeholders in setting up a Happy Family Info Hub- a multi-sectoral and interactive support network and platform for exchange of information. The provision of family support work spans various bureaus and departments and calls for concerted efforts.Like multi-disciplinary collaboration within the administration, tripartite partnership between the Government, the private sector and the civil society, charitable bodies such as the Hong Kong Jockey Club is crucial for taking forward initiatives for happy families and harmonious society. This symposium provides a timely platform to discuss and explore best practices to achieve sustainable efforts to empower families.I commend the Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust for conceiving this most worthwhile project and staging this prestigious event.

Let me conclude by wishing this symposium every success. In family matters, love is the best policy.Only when the community harnesses the power of love together with individual families to overcome adversity can the three Hs – health, happiness, harmony – flourish and help us all grasp new opportunities.Thank you.

Processors that support 32-bit MCUs and other high-performance, low-footprint embedded devices must not only provide the requisite performance and right feature set, but they also need to be extremely compact to keep flash memory and silicon costs down. This enables smaller die area which allows for further integration. The specifications of the new M14K cores suggest great promise for the next generation of these devices
The M14K Core for Microcontrollers
The M14K core combines high performance with an advanced level of code compression for the 32-bit MCU market, achieving performance of 1.5 DMIPS/MHz and 180 MHz in 130nm. The M14K core offers advanced features that are optimized for MCU and real-time embedded applications, including reduced interrupt latency, flash acceleration, advanced debug features including iFlowTraceTM and support for AHB Lite as the interconnect interface. Designed on the MIPS32 4K® micro-architecture that is already proven in hundreds of millions of SoCs, the M14K core is highly configurable and extendable, offering a wide range of implementation options to minimize cost and maximize reusability.
Microchip is delighted to see continued innovation and commitment from MIPS Technologies in the 32-bit MCU market. The new M14K and M14Kc cores, and the microMIPS ISA offer enhancements important to MCU users, including even faster interrupt latency and smaller code size said Sumit Mitra, vice president, High Performance Microcontroller Division, Microchip Technology. Microchip is pleased with the enthusiastic acceptance of its MIPS-based PIC32 MCU family offering best-in-class performance. As with our 8-bit and 16-bit microcontroller businesses, Microchip is committed to a long term roadmap with our MIPS-based 32-bit MCU products
The M14Kc Core for High Performance, Low Footprint Applications
The M14Kc core builds on the base M14K core with additional features for embedded applications such as home entertainment, home networking and personal mobile entertainment. These applications require a compact footprint but also the ability to execute increasingly complex software algorithms on an RTOS or Linux. Based on the popular MIPS32 4KEcTM micro-architecture, which provides a powerful Linux and Java engine and superior performance for the Android platform, the M14Kc core has a full cache controller and translation lookaside buffer (TLB) memory management unit (MMU).
microMIPS ISA for Advanced Code Compression
At the heart of the M14K and M14Kc cores is the new microMIPS ISA that offers 32-bit performance with 16-bit code size for most instructions. The microMIPS ISA combines recoded and new 16- and 32-bit instructions to achieve an ideal balance of performance and code density. It incorporates all MIPS32 instructions and Application Specific Extensions (ASEs) including MIPS-3D® ASE, MIPS DSP ASE, MIPS MT ASE and SmartMIPS® ASE, as well as new instructions for advanced code size reduction. The microMIPS ISA is backward compatible, enabling reuse of optimized MIPS micro-architecture. With smaller memory accesses and efficient use of the instruction cache, the microMIPS ISA also helps to reduce system power consumption.
