Mindfire Solutions, CEO, Mr. Chinmoy Panda, was invited to speak in detail on his ‘Experience Sharing by an Emerging company’.
— In the inaugural session of the meet, a one day conference, eminent speakers and leaders from the corporate world met and brainstormed about the necessity of innovative technologies to maximize productivity and help industries reap benefits in the emerging markets. The attendees at the conference emphasized on binding together process oriented innovations and strategy for organizational growth. Understanding that innovative technology and services will result in qualitative output as well as technological upgradation of the Indian Industries, the leaders were equivocal in promoting talent and sharing experience from the players in the industry who had been through it all.

While speaking on the needs of the IT industry in Orissa, he said, ” The Central and State governments have incentivised the IT industry and helped the industry grow. As members of the IT industry, we would need to take a step back, look inwards at ourselves as an industry and how we can contribute to the welfare of the area in which we operate. We would rather benefit from making best use of resources provided by the Government and paying back to the society, than from getting government to do more.” He also added, ” Government becoming another major customer of IT Services by its e-governance projects is actually another mega-incentive for the IT industry”.
Mr Pradipta Kumar Mohapatra, Commissioner-cum-Secretary, Department of IT, Government of Orissa, said on the inauguration ceremony, “IT industry is a major contributor to the development of the state through its innovative services. Incorporation of technology into the government machinery has enabled us service the people better. The adoption of e-procurement has helped us in coordinating with the contractors and farmers better and has also saved them of the inconvenience of having to run from post to pillar for their work.”
Mr SS Nandurdikar,Chairman, Orissa State Council, Managing Director, Paradeep Phosphates; Mr Arup Dasgupta. Vice Chairman, CII Eastern Region ICTE Sub-Committee and Mr Manoj Panda, Convenor-CII Orissa IT panel were also present in the ceremony.
The deliberations on various issues relating to the ICT were discussed in various sessions during the conference.
