Cricket Tournament was organized by Employees of DesignTech Systems Ltd. DesignTech Systems a leading CAD, CAM solutions provider had organized annual sports event their in house Cricket Match named as DESIGNTECH PREMIER LEAGUE (DPL) on Saturday, 18th December 2010. These matches were held at Ideal Colony Ground, Kothrud .

These matches were held at Ideal Colony Ground, Kothrud . The entire management team along with employees of DesignTech Systems participated in this annual sports event.
Talking about DPL, Meghana Kulkarni, HR Manager, DesignTech Systems said, ” December being our year ending we have hectic schedule and high pressure deadline to follow. To add some fun element at work and to relieve the stress of the employees we thought of organizing in house cricket match. Participating in annual sports event has helped employees to bond with other members of the company.”
The matches were played between 4 teams and group of 11 employees in each team. The team names were 2nd Floor, 3rd Floor, 4th Floor and 5th Floor.
The rest of the employees were cheering for each team and helping in various other departments.
Mr. Ravindra Bhingare, Accounts Officer, Sports enthusiastic and employee of DesignTech Systems says , I am glad that our company has provided us such a good platform to encourage our hidden talent in sports . Cricket being favorite sports among the masses, this is the great initiative by the company to introduce annual sports activity.
Mr. Vikas Khanvelkar, M.D of DesignTech Systems felicitated the winning team with a special memento and certificate. He motivated the employees and encouraged them to follow sports citing that at DesignTech we believe in Talent wins games, but teamwork and intelligence wins championships.

- Man of the MATCH : Mr. Abhijeet Roy : DPL Trophy
- Best Bowler : Mr. Yashwant Landage : BLUE CAP
- Best Batsman : Mr. Nikhil Pendse : RED CAP
All the employees were extremely excited with the annual event and are looking forward to it next year.
